Short description

Karlštejn Castle, a stunning Gothic fortress near Prague, was built in the 14th century by Emperor Charles IV to protect the crown jewels and holy relics of the Holy Roman Empire. Located on a hilltop, the castle offers beautiful views. Its preserved architecture includes the renowned Chapel of the Holy Cross, decorated with gold and precious stones, adding to the castle's allure.

• Train S7 goes from Prague Main Station to Karlštejn every 30 mins (always at:015 and 0:45) and the way takes 45 minutes
