Short description

České Švýcarsko, or Czech Switzerland, is a national park located in the northwestern part of the Czech Republic, known for its dramatic sandstone rock formations, deep forests, and picturesque landscapes. This region features remarkable natural wonders, including the iconic Pravčická brána, the largest sandstone arch in Europe, and the scenic Kamenice River gorge. Did you know that winter scenes from first Narnia movie “Lion, witch and wardrobe” were shoot there?

Visitors can explore a network of well-marked hiking trails that lead to breathtaking viewpoints, charming villages, and the serene beauty of the Elbe River.
